REALITY BOMB are a rock band formed in New Haven CT in 2009. Initially a 1970's punk influenced trio, REALITY BOMB expanded their line up by adding multi-instrumentalist Toan Nguyen-dinh, and then a few years later guitarist Bobby Roberts. their musical palette expanded also by incorporating elements of blues, psychedelic rock, and 70's soul and R&B. REALITY BOMB's songs are laden with unusual hooks, coupled with observational lyrics that sometimes cast a blinding and harsh light on modern society.

Recently (2018) Bobby Roberts made the tough decision to leave REALITY BOMB to pursue his own project, at the same time Billy “the bull” Richmond arrived from the audience to shake-rattle-and roll as the band’s percussionist, Billy will be singing backup and lead vocals, he is basically the band’s alter-ego. Guitarist Benny Blanko joined the guys adding his explosive solos to the sound, and bringing a fresh energy and passion to the band.

The primary band lineup then changed to have guitarist and vocalist Joseph Adam, bass guitarist and vocalist Joe Soucy, drummer Phil DiMarco, vocalist-percussionist Billy Richmond, guitarist Benny Blanko, with occasional contributions from multi-instrumentalist Toan Nguyen-Dinh.

After having life get in the way of music Joe Soucy had to step back from the band. This made way for the newest addition, bringing his own energy and outstanding Bass style, REALITY BOMB is happy to introduce Noel Tomasz, on bass & backing vocals. Noel arrived recently and fell right into the musical style, and general madness of the group.

Although the music of REALITY BOMB is usually written by individual members of the band, nothing is set in stone for REALITY BOMB; they are constantly evolving and collaborating, sometimes changing the original idea to a completely new composition. REALITY BOMB have just completed their first full album, titled FALLOUT which features all of the elements that make up the overall sound of the band. There are aspects of every influence splattered all over the 12 songs that make up FALLOUT, including the usage of Theremin's and Mellotron sounds, augmenting the traditional guitar, bass, & drums. Live, the band knows no boundaries. When REALITY BOMB plays a cover song, most of the audience either doesn’t know it, or they are pleasantly surprised. The band thrives on the energy of one another, as well as the crowd. REALITY BOMB is a force to be reckoned with.
